PREPARING YOUR BODY FOR PREGNANCY

Pregnancy, from the very first day, is a process that is highly demanding in micronutrients. It is essential to have an adequate intake, as the body will always prioritise the baby's health over the mother's. Consequently, if insufficiencies or deficiencies are present, the mother may find herself "depleted" of nutrients and end the pregnancy with a poor nutritional status.

BOOST YOUR FERTILITY

Vitamins and minerals such as zinc and fatty acids, in particular DHA, are key nutritional elements that contribute to optimal fertility. They affect the quality of our eggs, of our cervical mucus, of our ovulationand progesterone production. Optimal nutrition can help support implantation. Plants are also your allies for boosting your fertility naturally and helping you feel calmer.

BOOST YOUR NUTRITIONAL RESERVES

Nutrients play a key role in fertility. A good nutritional status during the conception period is essential to give yourself every chance. Did you know that a vitamin B9 deficiency considerably increases the risk of neural tube defects?

Your questions, our answers.

There is no "magic" supplement for getting pregnant... The path to pregnancy can be long, and fertility factors are many. While the approach needs to be holistic, nutrition is a pillar we can control and one that can make a real difference within a few weeks. The nutrients in Baby Bump will have an impact on your reserves of essential nutrients for preconception (deficiencies can be detrimental to good fertility). For example, folates, vitamins B6, B12 and D, as well as iron, all play a role in the mechanisms that may affect fertility (Ella Schaefer et al, 2019). Cocooning+ acts directly on the cycle and contains plants recognised for their actions on fertility, ovulation, implantation, and for helping you feel calmer.

Our Fertility course is one we recommend taking for 3 months ideally, to be renewed if needed. The quality of the eggs you currently have reflects your state of health 3 months ago, as it takes approximately 100 days for the dominant follicle to reach ovulation. 3 months is the time your body needs for your cycle and hormones to rebalance and for your fertility to improve.

We recommend taking a therapeutic break of one to two weeks after every 3-month course of Cocooning+. Baby Bump can be taken continuously.

Our fertility course of supplements is recommended for women who are having difficulty conceiving. If you are experiencing irregular cycles, ovulation issues, or simply wish to increase your chances of pregnancy with a healthy and effective solution, this course is made for you.

We invite you to read the precautions for use mentioned on our labels. Cocooning+ is not recommended for women with a personal or family history of breast cancer (due to the presence of red clover). There are many different forms of breast cancer (non-genetic, genetic, hormone-dependent or not). According to doctors, the risk may be particularly present if your mother or sister has had breast cancer. Research shows arguments both for and against red clover in relation to endometriosis and fibroids. As a precaution, consult your doctor in the event of endometriosis or fibroids due to the presence of red clover (480 mg per ampoule). Cocooning+ should be avoided after an embryo transfer. It may be taken before. Do not use without the advice of your medical team, as red clover may have an oestrogenic action, which could potentially interact with certain artificial menopause treatments (decapeptyl). Breastfeeding mothers, please ask your doctor before using it. Baby Bump is not recommended for people with thyroid disorders due to the presence of iodine. Not suitable for people being treated with coumarin anticoagulants. We recommend consulting your doctor before consuming food supplements containing vitamin K. Not suitable for children and adolescents. People who need to undergo laboratory tests should inform their doctor or laboratory staff that they are taking or have recently taken biotin (vitamin B8).

The daily dose of Baby Bump provides an intake of 400 µg of folate in the form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (Quatrefolic®). This covers your needs with a form that is directly active and readily absorbed by the body, so you can stop taking the folic acid that has been prescribed to you.

The quality of our products and the sourcing of our ingredients are at the heart of our approach. Your baby's health and your own health are priceless and deserve the very best in terms of quality. Our products are manufactured in France, in one of the finest laboratories, and we also have them independently tested by a separate laboratory to verify their purity and the absence of heavy metals, pollutants, solvents, and pesticides. You can even view the test results on our website! We formulated Cocooning+ and Baby Bump without compromise, selecting with the greatest care either organic botanicals or bioavailable actives — that is, actives that can be absorbed by your body — at effective doses. Baby Bump notably contains vegetable vitamin K2 (K2VITAL®), choline (Vitacholine™), and vitamin D3, which are rarely included in prenatal multivitamin supplements due to cost. Finally, Baby Bump combines 2 supplements in 1 for easier intake! Generally, a prenatal supplement contains vitamins and minerals but no DHA, meaning you have to buy 2 separate supplements — which ends up costing more than Baby Bump, which already includes both.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain all the necessary nutrients through diet alone (overly processed foods, depleted soils, etc.), although diet should remain a priority. Certain deficiencies can directly affect your fertility and the healthy progression of a pregnancy. The use of certain plants, vitamins and minerals may be beneficial in supporting good fertility and preparing your body as well as possible for a future pregnancy. Food supplements should be consumed as part of a healthy lifestyle and should not replace a varied and balanced diet.
