What is naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a traditional Western medicine recognised by the WHO as a complementary medicine. It aims to preserve, optimise or rebalance health through natural means. Its main pillars are: nutrition, adapted physical activity, stress and emotional management, to which micronutrition, phytotherapy, manual or complementary emotional therapies may be added… 

In the context of a desire to conceive, naturopathy can be helpful:

- before conception, ideally from 3 months prior (the maturation period for eggs and sperm),

- when the wait is prolonged,

- alongside medical monitoring or an assisted reproduction (ART) journey.

It is not intended to replace conventional medicine, but to work alongside it, within a holistic and individualised approach.
