How to measure. Place your nipple in the openings on the guide and measure its diameter at the base, without including the areola. Measure both nipples, as they may differ in size.

The ideal flange size generally corresponds to a diameter 1 to 2 mm larger than your nipple at rest. This helps avoid friction whilst ensuring a good seal during milk expression.
