Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism and the normal metabolism of fatty acids. We use zinc bisglycinate, a form that is very well absorbed by the body (1).

Cinnamon helps maintain normal blood lipid levels and supports HDL cholesterol production. Several studies have demonstrated the benefits of cinnamon on lipid metabolism (2 to 6).

Several factors combine and may have an impact on metabolism:

Metabolism Support is not a weight-loss product and we do not present it as such. It is a food supplement designed to support the normal functioning of metabolism through zinc, which contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism and the normal metabolism of macronutrients and fatty acids. Studies on metabolaid® have observed effects on the body (1), as part of a balanced diet and regular physical activity. These are not "miraculous" results, but data from rigorous clinical trials.

Yes, and it is in fact one of the contexts this formula was specifically designed for. Menopause brings a drop in oestrogen levels, which do not play a purely reproductive role: they are also involved in lipid metabolism, insulin sensitivity and the distribution of body fat. Their decline is associated with an increase in visceral fat, a tendency towards insulin resistance and an altered lipid profile (rise in LDL, fall in HDL) (1).
