Iron Mama is a food supplement designed to support your iron needs during pregnancy, breastfeeding and the postpartum period. Here are our usage recommendations: Take 1 to 2 capsules per day, or as recommended by your doctor or midwife. For iron deficiency prevention: Take 1 capsule in the morning with breakfast, preferably with a large glass of water. In the case of iron deficiency (low ferritin): Take 1 capsule in the morning with breakfast and 1 capsule at lunchtime, also with a large glass of water. Specific cases: If your ferritin level is below 20 ng/mL, the dosage may be increased to up to 4 capsules per day. Please refer to our table on the product page. Additional advice: Avoid taking Iron Mama with tea or coffee, as these drinks may reduce the effectiveness of iron absorption. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any supplementation.
