Really very practical, easy to clean and transport, for collecting milk or relieving engorgement. I always have it to hand.

It is common, when you are breastfeeding or expressing milk on one breast, for the other breast to leak.

The Haakaa milk collector allows you to collecting the breast milk that leaks, so you don't lose a single precious drop and can use it again later. An effective, practical, and easy-to-use milk collector, safe for both mum and baby. Ideal to pack in your hospital bag and keep throughout your breastfeeding journey, so you never lose a drop of that precious milk.

In the case of a strong let-down reflex, the milk collector can help by reducing the initial pressure from the breast. Place it on the breast before latching your baby, to collect the first milk that comes out with too much force. Once the initial pressure has eased, you can latch your baby again.

It also helps to relieve engorgement. Fill the Haakaa milk collector with warm water and place it on the breast. This will help to unblock the milk ducts and provide quick relief.

Gently squeeze the reservoir of the milk collector, which will allow it to attach to the nipple.

We recommend mixing this collected milk with milk you have expressed, in order to have a complete blend, as the composition of breast milk varies greatly throughout a feed or pumping session.

You can place it on the breast not being used by your baby, or in combination with our electric breast pump on the breast not being expressed.

Déjà utilisé lors de ma première grossesse, c’est vraiment le petit accessoire indispensable et facile à utiliser pendant l’allaitement !

Un achat essentiel

Je ne regrette pas l’achat de ce recueil-lait que j’aurais souhaité avoir dès le début de l’allaitement. Il me permet de recueillir une grande quantité de lait pendant les tétées, et sert aussi à désengorger au besoin. Il est ainsi utile pour se constituer un petit stock de lait.
Je le recommande à toutes les jeunes mamans allaitantes !

Ravie de cet achat. Super pratique à l’utilisation. Permet de rester au sec de l’autre côté pendant que bébé tête. Permet de vider le sein et ainsi éviter l’engorgement. Dommage de ne pas l’avoir trouvé pour mon premier allaitement. D’ailleurs le jeu de mot Gobe lait a été trouvé par ma fille de 4 ans fan de Claude Ponti et allaitée jusqu’à ses 3 ans.

Vraiment génial !

Cet outil est absolument génial ! En le plaçant correctement, j’arrive à recueillir 40ml pendant que mon bébé tête l’autre sein. Et pour les engorgements, ça soulage très vite. J’en avais un en verre avant, mais il ne tenait pas tout seul sur le sein et surtout, il était très difficile à nettoyer au fond. Avec celui-ci, aucun problème.

Je regrette qu’une chose : ne pas l’avoir trouvé plus tôt !

When correctly positioned, the milk collector creates a suction effect on the breast and stays in place on its own. You can therefore wear it under loose clothing whilst expressing or breastfeeding your baby.

You can sterilise it by placing it in a microwave steam steriliser or in a dedicated sterilising machine.

To store expressed milk, you can place it in the bottle you will give your baby a few hours later, kept in a cool, dry place. You can also put it in a storage bag — either for a few hours in a cool, dry place, for 48 hours in the refrigerator, or in the freezer.
